What can I make for his birthday?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I always make him something for every occasion. I now think that I do it so often that I've suddenly run out of ideas. He's going to be 17 if that makes a difference in meaning. His interests are mainly wrapped around hunting, quads, pool, and his rock music, if that helps spark any thoughts. I'm pretty flexible for any idea. I'm going to be an art major, so if you have a complex idea, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks.

Since you are into art you could make him (if not already):

* A handmade picture frame with, of course, a photo of you two
* A cute n' cuddley stuffed animal
* A handmade gift basket full of *guy stuff*
* A beautiful card with lots of frillieness
* A lavishly decorated cake (I'm sure you could make it look amazing with your artistic hand)

I'd go with a mix CD. A pack of blank CDs with white labels is pretty cheap, and a pack of color sharpies... Decorate it however you want.

I would make a collage of him and his hobbys, maybe throw in some words that describe how you feel about him or that describe him as a person.

Oooh, make him a shirt! Those are always fun!

I got one that said "I'm a pirate!" for my birthday.

Pick up a cheap acoustic/classical guitar, strip the varnish off, paint on an appropraite design/decoupage photos of friends/good nights out ect the re-varnish. It'll sound rubbish to play but I'll look really cool and it's a pretty weird present.

The 3/4 guitars are really cute for this kind of thing.

Thanks.
since you are an art major
Buy a cake in Tesco ,roll out fondant icing the size of the top, trace on a scene or subject i.e. hunting / music /anything and paint with food colouring [Make sure the light is at the back of the icing to show the indents you've traced]
Do your own thing the sky is the limit
A designer cake what could be better and personal?

I think that the cake or collage ideas sound especially good! What kind of art is it that you are going to be majoring in, please?

Decorate his room with flowers and good curtains so that as he wakes up on that day he finds himself very special. Wish him on his birthday with beautiful birthday cards. Serve him breakfast cooked by you. Gift him his favorite things according to his passion. Take him out for the whole day. Go to those places where you have spent your best days and cherish those moments. Then go for a lovely candle lit dinner for two. Don't you think the evening is already special.
