    Ear injury from explosion.
Hello. About a half an hour ago a transformer on an electric pole exploded while I was walking my dogs. I was approximately 5ft from the pole. No ringing noise but I am having just a little pain in my ear... I can hear fine. Do you think my ear is OK? Thanks.

You need to immediately contact the power company, whose transformer exploded, and REPORT your injury (or possible injury) to them. Ask for a medical exmination to be provided by THEIR insurance. Do NOT take any chances with any of your five senses, when it comes to real or suspected injury! If you have a suitable camera, take pictures of the transformer that exploded, for possible future use (or litigation)! You should also contact your local police and/or fire departments, to get the event on official record, for your own protection.
