Making things with no nails, screws, etc.

Where can one find more about how to make things without using metal like nails, screws, etc? For example, if I want to build a ship without nails and screws, where could I get information on design? (Or simpler, a wooden box.)

One thing that you could do is discuss something like this with me. One of my goals is to make a trellis and bench with using no screws, nails or adhesives of any kind. Free standing bookshelves are one thing that are very easy to make without using any fasteners or adhesives of any kind. Boxes, no problem. Use dado's and dowels...

Gosh! I hope that we didn't scare you away, Pharaoh_10! I was really looking forward to further dialog with you! You really do seem to be very articulate, intelligent and artistic on top of that!
