Our company (based in Ukraine) would like to set up a subsidiary corporation in the US in the form of a LLC. We are going to acquire EIN and open a US bank account. However the whole business activity will take place in Ukraine. There will be no personnel in the US. How will this LLC be treated - as a US company or as a permanent establishment of a Ukrainian one? Do we need to apply for a visa to pay tax in the US?
I would appreciate if somebody could give me an answer.
