sweep stakes

I own a small business. I am considering retiring.
I would like to see my business taken over by someone who has all of the proper education and training, but might never be financially able to afford such a venture.
I would like to know who I would contact about possibly having my business given away through some type of sweepstake. Of course I would have to have some type of entry fee to obtain my selling price. Once my price was obtained, I would in turn choose an entrant based on some type of letter about their qualifications.

i understand what you are trying to do. I suggest a different approach.

seek through the newspaper or business brokers, candidates to run your company or become partners.

feel out candidates.

give it 6 mo to one year.

I can guarantee if you have a real business, you will find a store mgr who
will work on speculation and love to buy the store from you--with your
offering 100% financing; do not give it away. SELL it this way.
