    What goes with chicken wings?
We're making chicken wings for dinner (my attempt at eating chicken on the bone (ew)) and I want to know what else to make with them (cos I won't eat very many).

So what foods go with chicken wings?

    Thanks!

I love tater skins with chicken wings

    BAKED POTATO SKINS

6 small baking potatoes (4 to 5 in. long)
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    Pinch of pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Scrub potatoes, pat dry, and rub skins
Lightly with a little of the butter. Pierce potatoes in several
Places with a fork. Bake potatoes until tender when pierced (45
Minutes to 1 hour). When cool enough to handle, cut in halves
Lengthwise and scoop out potato, leaving a thin shell about 1/8 inch
Thick. Reserve potato for other dishes. Place skins on a baking
Sheet. Melt butter in a small pan with paprika and white pepper.
Stir. Brush insides of potato skins with butter mixture. Bake potato
Skins until crisp and golden (18 to 20 minutes).

Extras: For variety, try adding grated Cheddar cheese,
Crumbled bacon, green onion, or chives.)

    Tex mex corn

Dice and sautee onions and green peppers
Garlic powder, pepper and season salt
Add can of drained corn and heat

Well not very filling but celary and carrots accopanied by ranch dressing. And if I were you I would go with football season food chille potato skins. I personaly like to place my wings on a bed of toasted pita so the sauce flavors it and it tends to settle your stomach if they are too hot. That or quesodillas are great with wings. Try them all out you'll find something.

The best is to put it in a big tray, and fill it with gravy, and simple vegetables, such as carrots, and peas, but if you really want to be inventive, try this family recepy
Cook jacket potatoes normaly, cut them in half, and take out the potato, but keep the jacket. Mix the potato with some soft cheese (laughing cow is the best) and chopped up bacon, put this mixture back into the jackets, put it into the oven till golden brown, serve with peas, and (obviosly) chicken wings!

Macaroni and cheeese - Kraft Homestyle is good and fast, green beans - just a little salt and pepper, and cornbread - Jiffy with a pinch of sugar. Yummmm.

I make a pasta salad that's really easy to change up. Try different combinations of dressings and vegetables.

    Cooked fusilli pasta
Diced vegetables(I like bell peppers, carrots, celery, and green onion)
Salad dressing (italian, greek, whatever you like)
Club house la grille vegetable seasoning

Mix everything together and let it sit in the fridge for an hour or so.

Usually chicken wings are an appetizer, but if I were to make them a meal I would probably side them with a baked potato, or even mashed potato. Pasta salad would go too or just raw veggies and dip.
