Go and find some work experience, would certainly make you appear keen..

Try working at different resturants and watch cake boss and other cooking shows and buy some cook books and u will learn more that way thatz what I'm.doin all of the years that my mom showed me how to.cook I'm gettin better at it by puttin my mind to it and praying to god everyday cuz I'm.taking care of my husband and son

and its hard to get a job being that I'm only 15, i cant work till 16..smh plus i have no way to get around...

Do they offer any sort of cooking classes at your school that you could take as electives? You might also check out some of the bakeries, supermarket chains, and restaurants in your area. They may offer classes. Do a search for cooking or culinary classes in the town where you live. If you did find something, would a parent or someone be able to drive you or could you take a bus?

My younger son had thought he wanted to become a chef, so he took all the cooking and food prep home econ classes that were offered in high school. He learned amazing things, especially about cleaning up and sanitary procedures.

What my mom did when she was first married was read, read, read cookbooks, and then made recipe after recipe with my dad as her guinea pig. A number of family favorites came out of those efforts, and they are recipes my own family has enshrined in our best-loved-foods recipe box. (Our rule is, if the house is on fire, grab the recipe box!)

So why not do that--build up your own recipe box of personal and family favorites of casseroles, entrees, desserts that you have made. Also, learning how to chop vegetables correctly with the correct knife is vital, so check YouTube for help with that and various other cooking tasks.

N yes they do have cooking classes in my school but I came late and cannot enter till next year, but next year I'm gonna be in another new school. And again yes a parent or sibling will be able to drive me to certain destinations
