| | | What are you cooking for sunday lunch? Whats on the table in your house this sunday for lunch???
We have honey duck and roast vegies
I love roast veg its just so nice not to have numerous pans on the stove as i put it all in a roasting tray and cook it together (not with the duck in the same tray mind you) there will be potatoes, carrots, courgette, onion, garlic cloves, asparagus all thrown together and roasted with a weeny drizzle of olive oil and honey. | | | | | | |

| mmm yummy. I do the same thing with veggies. LOVE it. Sorry I didn't see this yesterday. But, during the winter time, I do a roasted root vegetable dish that gets rave reviews. Carrots, parsnips, sweet potato, turnips, with a little olive oil, pepper, and herbs du provence. Yum, yum. Sometimes I add butternut squash.
I have a really easy recipe for you that I created if you like halibut, cod, or flounder. Also, you have to like tabouli. Very easy prep and clean up.
For two to three people:
Buy enough of the above fish to feed 2-3 people. Rinse off the fish, create a steam package using aluminum foil. Place the fish on a very large piece of aluminum foil.
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the fish, sprinkle with fresh ground pepper, drizzle some olive oil over it, two small pats of butter, and spoon enough tabouli to create a thin layer over the entire fish. Close the aluminum foil in a way that creates a steam pouch. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Mmmm. Beautiful. |

| OOOOOOOO i like doing that with chicken breast ruby and adding the potatoes and veg to with a little veg stock and wine its such an easy thing to do when you cant be doing with all the pots and pans tee hee |

| Sunday....so long ago!
Nothing on the table, spent the day as it was hissing down with rain cooking. In the end I ended up with 19 raspberry jam tarts, 12 chocolate fairy cakes, 1 Leek and Stilton quiche and a sausage/carrot/onion pie. No wonder I sat down to watch the football in the afternoon! After my team lost I did the dishes. |

| tee hee was it that bad colbtech, you live in my most favourite place in the world spent many a long weekend in guernsey and week on end in jersey it will always hold a soft spot in my heart. |

| Have you tried grilling your veggies too?
There is nothing better then grilled asparagus with a little grilled red onion.
I am also a big fan of grilled eggplant...that is how I make my eggplant parm.
Instead of frying it, I grill it. Much healthier and very yummy |

| Oh yes thats a summer treat for the bbq i love grilled courgette the best ive just made sweet and sour for dinner just waiting for ben and millie to wake then i can stuff my face im famished. |

| Ok so cultural differences courgette is Zucchini in the US. At least where I am...so it took me a minute.
I love to wrap leeks in foil with balsamic and olive oil and let them go until soft (30 minutes or so). They are great...so is roasted garlic...oh boy now I am getting hungry and I just had lunch  |

| I have just been getting my grill all set up. That is the only way to do the veggies in the summertime! Mmmm love grilled eggplant and zucchini. Tusc, I will have to try your leek idea. Mmmm |

| I have to admit that I never put my grill away. Even in the dead of winter I make my husband go out and grill. Granted not as often as in the summer...but still. Of course it helps that our garage is heated. |
