Crock Pot

How long can you keep the food in the crock pot on Warm? Can you put the Hot crock pot of food into the refridgerator?

I'm not sure about how long you can keep the food in the crock pot. But, I found the following advice on a site: 14. Never store foods in a crockery slow cooker in the refrigerator. The change in temperature can be harmful to the finish.

If the food is kept at a safe temp. then until no one wants to eat it. 8 to 10 hours. I have many times put a crock in the fridge (but I am not known for taking good care of small appliances)
