I used to really enjoy the Pizza Hut Supreme Sandwich, but they no longer offer it on the menu. I would like to recreate it at home, but I don’t know the portions of the ingredients (mozzarella, ham, salami, lettuce, and dressing). Does anyone know how they were made, or might possibly have a picture of one?

Oh, I loved that too. Although I do not know the proportions, I make my own and experiment. Just remember that the dressing used was creamy italian.

Yes, they were good. I guess they stopped making them around a year ago. Quite a long run considering that I remember them from the 80's. I also remember that they had a chart that indicated how much cheese/meat to use in making the sandwich. The dressing was their own private label vinaigrette. Good stuff! Maybe someone knows???

I used to work at Pizza Hut and I remember the chart, but that was back in the 80s and I was young. I vaugely remember the chart, but can't remember the proportions. Yes, they had a vinagarette, but it truly was italian dressing, at my location the vinagarette was changed to a creamy italian. It was their own label but it was italian dressing, believe it or not, at least at my location.

All I do now when I make my own is get a hoagie roll, put 2 slices of each meat on, pile some mozzarella and place under the broiler. While it is broiling I shred the lettuce. When done, I put the lettuce on and then the dressing and voila, tastes almost EXACTLY the same.

That's cool you worked there too. Kinda funny looking back then when the wadge was $3.35 per hour. Ouch!!! It sounds like you have the supreme sandwich mastered. I'll give it a try myself and see how it goes. Maybe if I dig around and find my old name tag (kinda sad if I still have it) the sandwich will taste all the better

Hello, Loved those too, IMO Pizza Hut is not the same at all. We recently went to a new opening of wing street and were so disappointed we shall most likely never return. I go to Wally world for their sub buns found in the deli .. I use canadian bacon sandwich slices, genoa salami and mozzarella cheese. Toast those together. Change meats to your taste.. the key to me was the creamy italian dressing that was put on after toasting, garnish is simply lettuce and tomato. If anyone knows how to make the dressing it I would love a recipe.
