    Connecting new concrete slab to old slab for an addition
    I want to expand my master bed room/walk in closet to house. Need to puor new slb for addition and connect to the old slab.

    How thick is your slab? In most cases you do not try to make a mechanical connection to the old slab, leave an expansion joint and let the two slabs float on their own.
