how much plywood 4x8 to cover 200 sq ft
contract calls for 200 sqft of sheathing(plywood 4x8 sheets)
any thing over that amount, you must call the city.
is 200 sq ft(1sq ft= 2.1 linear ft) 400 feet in linear ft.
but how many plywood sheets would it take to cover 200 sq feet?

A normal sheet of plywood is thirty two square feet in its uncut factory state. To cover two hundred square feet requires six and one quarter sheets ( 6.25). Square foot coverage cannot be converted to linear feet. Unless it is understood that the unit of measure refers to a specific plan.

4x8 is 32 s.f. 400 divided by 32 = 12 1/2 sheets of 4 x 8

Um... ok... but why did you double the coverage?
The OP was for 200, not 400.
So you just took the previous answer and doubled it for coverage. Not really anything new added and not the OP's question.

Oneill474, I have an itching question. Why do you need to call the city? And why are you using expensive plywood instead of OSB? Just curious.

It was a ship loan. The city does home repairs using outside contractors.
The mortgage is interest free. And no payments required until you sell the home. The repairs are monitored by city inspectors. Pretty good deal.
