interior bathroom door

the door there now is very small. If a standard 24" wide door would fit it would be great.

the door itself is 21 1/4 wide. but measuring from trim to trim accross is 28"

I don't know if a 24" will fit, they come with the jambs attached. I guess I should
remove the trim piece to see what the actual opening is???
Then they say 24" door do they meet the jambs included?

Oneill,

Measure the inside opening. If is 24" wide you can install your 2.0 door.

However, if it is not 2.0, you would have to make the allowable door space wider.

To do that, you would have to frame the wall for the wider door frame prior to cutting the the old door frame out.

Are you trying to fit a door to your current frame or are you considering a prehung door? Your space is really small, have you considered a bi-fold door?
