    Handymen in my area usually charge about $0.50 per s/f but pros charge twice that rate. Where do you live, that can help determine the going labor rate. Most interior wall painting needs two coats. If you are just trying to get a rough idea most local painters will give you a free on-site estimate. Get 3 estimates and you'll know your exact ballpark.
