Extending an existing shed concrete slab a couple of inches on each side

I have a old shed I want to replace, the new shed is a couple of inches bigger than the slab,is it possible to extend the slab a coulpe of inches on each side setting up forms around it and pouring concrete. Thanks, tim

Sure. Dig down to the same depth as the existing pad, make sure the soil is well compacted, form the added size and pour the concrete. How is the old shed attached to the slab? You may have to install new j bolts. Some people might tell you to install expansion joints but if you are only talking a couple of inches, they are not needed.
