Ex-Cons get a job?

I have a record, and have been out of prison for almost a year. How and what kind of job can I get?

have you looked? My employer would hire you, and I know several that would in different areas. They all ask if you are a felon, but that doesn't mean they are judging you. Yu have been judged, sentenced, and served your time. Have that kind of attitude, and you will find something.
Good Luck
and Best of wishes

You posted in the construction thread so are you kind of looking it this area? Do you have a skill or trade? You won't get a job with Brinks or as a bank teller but you will find work in the trades, especially if you have a skill. Tell us about yourself.
PS if this is your true name I'd suggest creating something a little different, too bad but there is already a guy named Excon here on the desk.
