G'Day ;
I see adds everywhere for this software to repair windows, does it realy work and is it safe ?? being new to computers I feel I'm a sitting duck for something not very nice and have had some major infestations so I'm a bit cautious.

You are right to be cautious - especially if the ad comes in the form of a pop-up window on your computer or by email spam. There are some excellent software packages which can be used to enhance your computer performance, but there are also some advertisements which are for software which are in fact not the solution but are part of the problem and may actually add spyware or adware to your computer, causing the performance to suffer.

My suggestion is that if you see an advertisement that interests you and which you think might be beneficial, ask a specific question about it on here and get some advise before you risk your hard-earned cash or risk your computer. Also, if there is a specific problem or concern about your computer, post a question - there are many very knowledgeable people here who would be pleased to recommend quality software which would address the specific issue.

G'Day; Thank you Tj3 for your time I'm finding it quite a jungle out there as far as scams are concerned, the add I saw was actually on this site but I'm still not sure if it worth the risk, once bitten twice shy sort of thing, but thank you once again.
I need all the help I can get !!!
