Toshiba TV 48" no picture

TV was working fine one minute then next it made a loud click sound and there is NO PICTURE, THE SCREEN IS TOTALLY BLACK. No menu, no help shows up. First there was sound but now NOTHING.

THE TIMED RECORDING button is flashing for days now. I hit stop, end every button on the Toshiba remote. No picture. Help. Thanks.
