Dear users, I need some help.

I am always login into hotmail without typing my password, as the computer remembers it, but today it asked me to type my password, which I can t remember, and after trying to press " forgot password" it simply comes back to the signin window... etc to short cut back to point 1... how can I do to retrieve my password???

Does your computer have a restore function?

If so, try to restore to an earlier point in time when it was working correctly.

If you have that option, I can help you if you need more details.

If that is not an option, or does not solve your issue, you may need to recover it.

What antivirus are you running, have you done a full scan recently and are your definitions up to date?

Or it could just be Hotmail screwing up again, which it does quite frequently. There have been times when for 3 days straight I couldn't log in cause the site was messed up.

Running the antivirus is never a bad idea, but in case Hotmail is acting screwy, before doing something drastic like a restore, personally I'd wait and try again later. But just my opinion.
