First of all a Happy New Year to everyone and I hope that you all have a good one.
My question is, I have just downloaded operating instructions for a Panasonic DVD recorder and I want to print out certain pages so that I can use the machine whilst reading the instructions. My problem is that on the left hand side of the page each relevant article is printed inside a black box, so when it comes to printing it takes a heck of a lot black ink and takes forever, the document is a PDF Adobe Acrobat format, so is it possible to change the black background of each box and how do I do it please.
I'm sure that there is a learned person out there with the answer, so if you can please help me out as I'm Struggling.
On every printer that I've had, I was able to print a selected area instead of
an entire page of text.
Generally, to do this, go to File dropdown, select "Print." When the "Print"
dialogue box appears, instead of clicking the box or circle for "All" or
"Pages _to_," Click "Selection." Be sure that "Selection" is the only
choice clicked.
BEFORE you do the above, Hold down the left side of your mouse and
drag it over the area of text that you wish to copy, not the black
borders. This will turn that area dark. This is the selected area.
Check to be sure that only the "Selection" box or circle is still clicked.
Mine is in the center of "All" and "Pages _to_."
Then Click "Print," and only the selected area will be printed. Voila!!!
