Multimedia Audio Controller

hello i accidentally deleted my multimedia audio controller and have no idea how to fix it. i do not have a c.d programmer because i bought the computer off some body so i do not know how to fix this any one know how? thank you

You deleted the drivers for the multimedia audio controller. Try doing a systems restore, restore it back to the point where you had the drivers. If this doesnt work.

Then you need to find the drivers for the audio controller. If you have a major brand name computer your job will be easy. Just go to the website and download the drivers.

start, settings, control panel, system, hardware tab, device manager
in device manager, I believe you will see a yellow question mark next to audio controller
right click on that and choose uninstall and say OK
after uninstall close all windows then restart the computer
On restart windows should find the audio device and install the driver

Try what Seahawk suggest first. Sometimes, windows has the drivers on the system. But 9 time out 10 when I re-install windows some drivers hardware drivers are not found. Then I have to hunt them down. If it a major brand this is easy. Most computers I fix are genenic and just old..so the parts are from the lowest bidder and half of these businesses are out of business.
