Logitech web cam

I just purchased the Logitech webcam (what a neat little tool). I recorded a video of me and my little dog for hubby (we miss him, he just left for work)....but there is not any sound Is that because I don't have a mic?

If I send it, will he hear it or did it record without any audio?

I know this is a dingy question

Love,
Allheart

Hubby is a regular riot. I sent it anyway without audio and he said, "It's okay, I like it when I can't hear you . ( he's so funny...ha ha haha)

But I am sure my sisters would want to hear me . So I guess, I do need a mic?

Thank you in advance.

Does you cam have an inbuilt mic ?
Otherwise you will need a seperat one for audio.

Normally they simply plug straight into your sound card (around the back where the speakers go)

na further round the back.

should look something like this:

OR

This is where you speakers connect.
One of these will have a little mic icon by it.
That's where it goes.
