Hello Guys,
Can anybody say me that is there any problem if I put my computer beside of my TV? And I am using a 5.1 Sound system with my computer. I placed the woofer beside my monitor. Can it be harmful for the monitor?

you really don't want the sub woofer too close to you monitor of tv because of the magnet in the speaker - that would effect the color as the magnet effects electrons that the the tv or monitor uses to create the picture you see, causing discoloration in your screen
google it, lots of stuff comes up

As well with your sub woofer it is made to be close to the ground. If you read the instructions that came with your 5.1 Sound system it will inform you where is the appropriate places to place your speakers and subwoofer for your surround sound to work properly.

With LCD/flat screen monitors, IT DOESN'T MATTER. With traditional CRT's there can be semi-permanent distortions introduced, but they can be removed with an external degausing coil. Some amount of degausing occurs each time a CRT is turned on. If you can't see wiggles on the screen when sound is playing, I wouldn't worry about it.

Low Frequency sounds are non-directional, so the subs can be placed anywhere in the room.
