I am getting pop ups that say lexplore has caused a error what causes this & what is lexplore associated with ?

Looks like a virus, found some info here
lexplore.exe - lexplore, Sodabot Worm, Virus Notice!

I would suggest going over to either bitdefender or trendmicro and scanning your PC
