converter for wmp
thanks for the answer changing format, from wma-mp3
i have 11 version for wmp but where is the tools to change the formats
i put cd in drive to burn but there were no tools to change formats
any-other help please.

a 3rd party app would make the coversion for you
advanced MP3 converter can make the conversions from and to different formats

thanks seahwk83 but i was told i could change the format before ripping the cd
instead of using wma or could click on tools and change to mp3 this is what i am stuck on

I see in wmp 11 that you can rip cd's in mp3 format, but not burn wma files to cd in a different format, you would have to convert them first - it seems wmp 9 may have that option with an additional plug-in

I use Audacity to edit and to convert songs, its a free DL or atleast it was!

Just load your file, and under File it says convert to Mp3.
I don't know if this will help in your particular situation, but it is a big help for me and maybe other people looking for programs like this! This is a very easy to use program, and has a undo button for all the people that like to experiment!
