Icons in Windows 8 picture manager
In Windows 8 picture manager most of the icons have either a green check mark or a >> symbol in a blue box. What do these mean? And is there anyway to get rid of them?

Icons of this type are normally indicators that your images have been sync'd to the cloud, in this case our skydrive.

Thanks for the response. But I have never used the cloud or skydrive. At least not knowingly.

I also realized the term "picture manager" may have been misleading. The tags are showing up in "File Explorer." They occur in the "Pictures" folder and also in "Videos" folder. I've added pictures of the tags.
