how to use rewritable cd

I don’t know how to erase the cd's is there a program I have to get? Or reformat something? If reformatting how? I am a novice with this manually capable but I need instructions Please

You need a cd burning program such as Nero or Roxio. There will be a menu selection that lets you erase rewriteable cds/dvds

Most computers come with at least the basic form of either of the programs HVAC888 spoke of.

hye!
nero is the best solution but if you are using XP then you simply right click the drive in my computer and then click on "Erase the CD-RW"

Check_himu is right, just follow these instructions for xp

Go in My Computer
Left Click On your CD Rom
Click on Erase this CD-RW
Then click Next And then It will start to Erase all files from the CD-RW

Also make sore it is a CD-RW and Not CD-R or DVD-R or DVD-RW if you don't have a DVD rom

For other Windows OS's Use NeroCd Burner
