how to recognise pirated software

I'm working as customer relation and it was my new job in 2009..
every single minute I have to do an interaction with the customers
regarding their communication services.. its probably same as ISP..

it requires me to do a lot of job in managing data communication..
the problem is with the computer working system..

why does the error reporting appeared ? and it always disturbing
me in handling job.. I have to restart the PC again and again..

could we just assuming the company was using OS pirated..
or might be going to expired soon..

Need to be more specific of errors and when they happen

What operating system you're running, and its version.

What is the exact text of the error message if possible, this may convey a lot of information.

If the problem is reproducible a summary of how to make it happen.

Any hardware add-on devices that you think might be related to the problem you're seeing.

Whether or not you are running a firewall, a virus scanner, or a spyware scanner, and what brand and version if known.

what kind of software

Just need to give more detail, not enough info to go on

there has a lot of people in our office as they mightly
on shift rotation.. like 8-4, 9-5 and further..

I was using XP system, not sure the version, and the company software that recognise
by ...browser.com that really make the real headache,
when I need to go further on customer account, request for the new window
above than 5 page, the delay is there.. while cust is on the line..

i just have to press ctrl alt delete to view task manager.. and automatically
the program is closed = session expired, and after the error report will shown by
asking me should I sent it or not, as usual I try to sent it with diffrent computer and
after few days the IT division has doing a maintenance on it.

I really didnt understand the software problem as my password are limited on
the account summary and so on.

appreciate yr advice

really guess is that you could report the issue to the IT dept if you have not already and explain that what you are trying to accomplish and get done to see if they can address issue as you cannot "do your job" efficiently, and if that really does not help, go to a supervisor and explain situation there to see if that helps at all

Going to be hard to regocnize unless you know which and what program you are looking for, sometimes you can tell by going to the Help and click About to see what type of registered name is listed there

Sometimes when you try to update a prgram, the update will recognize or when update is finished, you will get message that you need to re-register (be careful with that as it may make program not fully functional anymore till registered properly)

I would sit back and wait till IT hopefully gets a handle of situation and follow up on previous attempts of aksing about the problems you are having

Do all of members of office have same issue or just yourself, look at it from all angles and use the best approach without that suits the situation without really getting too involved, but ask questions

Are your computers not locked down? The users should not have admin privileges. Have a standard image for all computers and add applications as necessary but an IT person has to do it and note it in a user datavase.
