    Same way you delete any files. Find them in Windows Explorer. Select and press the Delete key.

    Unfortunately Windows deletion utility doesn't really delete anything, it just removes the pointer that points to the files. That's why recovery applications can find the files after they have been deleted. If you search for "last free version", and look for the 321download site, you can find an older application called BCWipe that will allow you to wipe files once or 7 times to securely get rid of them so they cannot be recovered. It was on page 14 the last time I was there and its free. It probably will not work on vista or win7 but I use it on XP when ever I delete something I'm sure I do not want, and it helps to keep my freespace on the hard drive clean. One pass is all you need to keep the drive clean, 7 passes to delete your plans for a nuclear device. There are a lot of other last free versions there as well but some were made for Win95/98.
