I have just started getting this annoying window appearig very frequently that says "Windows Explorer Script Error" and words to the effect "Do you want to keep running scripts on this page"..not all have the same error there are several different errors. It seems to only happen on certain websites...ebay being one of them..it is driving me mad...because no matter which of the buttons I click (the cohoice is yes or no) the window does not dissapear straight away, I have to click repeatedly. Please help
ahem, drop IE get firefox. that would be nicely located in my sig below, or go to http://mozilla.org its free and i have yet to have no such errors yet!! or have i had crashes or securtiy problems. on xp or win 98. check it out though, its free and its so light and fast to download
Just to correct somethin in my post it is an "Internet Explorer Script Error" regarding Mozilla, I have used it in the past and it is good but I would also lkke to fix this problem if possible. If all else fails I'l go to mozilla
to tell you the truth i had it around 90 percent of the time, on my computer, 98, xp and other people's computer, just either you click yes or no every time it will not do anything. every time when i use firefox, like say now which i am, ok i go to a ebay link, every thing is fine. just all works with firefox. just not really much to do with it, its happened to various other computer's i've used. oh and plus firefox 1.0 is out, carries all of your saved passwords, cookies, favorites and everything from IE and copies it to firefox
Hi,
At any website, click on Tools at the top.
Then click on Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to "Disable Script Debugging", then left click on it, to put a checkmark in the box.
Click on Apply, then OK.
woopsy i forgot about that, i haven't used IE in a long time. in fact i use my 98 machine mostly and it has i beleive 5.0, damn i'm gonna kick myself in the butt now.
