display icon

my display icon on desktop will not open for nothing. i'm using a double monitor system. and i want to drag from the left monitor and drop onto right monitor. but i can't the way it's stuck. and my display icon will not open for nothing. what do i do to fix it? please help.

I assume you mean that you've added a shortcut on your desktop to the "Display" icon that's in your control panel?

If this isn't working, there are a few ways to open Display Properties:
Go to the control panel and double click the Display Icon
Right click on your desktop and choose properties
Go to : Start -> Run Type "desk.cpl" without the quotes and click ok.
