how can I optimize my computer. it is so slow running, searching is too long

You can go into msconfig(through START and 'RUN') and turn off a lot of services that are not needed for everyday computing. If this is a home computer, I suggest turning off 'Fast User Switching' as well as 'Shadow Volume Copy' as those take up a bunch of resources
