computer freezes no matter what

my hp m9040n computer freezes no matter what, even in safe mode, i tried system recovery(where it re-formats everything to original), i tried doing a checkdisk on C: but i got to 15 percent and the computer froze, i took the side off the computer and blew out all the dust, i dont know what else to do pleaaaaasssseee help. sorry for bad description but im on ps3 typin with a controller

Click start>click run type in msconfig and then press enter. Goto the start up tab and uncheck everything except your anti virus,click ok and reboot.

have you run scan disk . does it freeze when you run scan disk ?

yes it freezes no matter i do im going to try msconfig now

I would check to make sure you are not having heat related freezes. You could try taking the side off of your computer and position a fan to blow directly in on the processor and the video card.
