    Computer freeze
My computer keeps freezing. It will run for anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, and then it freezes. I have to turn off the power to restart it. Im on a wireless connection. The host computer does the same thing occasionally, but not near as often as mine. Ive had to restart my computer TWICE while trying to write this question. GRRRRR any help?

Go start/run/eventvwr.msc, and look at the applications, as well as the system files. Look at the entries that have an error at the same time your computer freezes. (note the time when it freezes next). You can identify the file that's causing the problem, if it's a software issue. You can continue posting here with your information(good job providing your o.s. and connection info).

See if you can identify what it might be and post here to see if anything can be found

It may be the same error that cause something else to happen
Does the error specify anything I particular

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any Software or Hardware that you installed or setup.

Followed Cogs advice. There is no error showing up in system or apps at the time my computer froze.

You can also go the Tools link and select Manage Add-ons
Go over this list carefully and disable any add-on that you feel are suspect, so long as you leave at least one enabled.
Restart your computer and see what happens. If the freeze-up stops, go back and add back in one at a time until the problem returns and you've likely found the problem program.

Is it a laptop or desktop? If it's a desktop, take off the cover, and spray out with compressed air, especially the fans on the motherboard and power supply. Don't try to touch anything yet. Then, put it back together and keep it in a better ventilated area (if the area was hot/warm). See how it does then.

The time that happened to me, the ribbon cable was not plugged in securely to the hard drive due to something wrong with the plug. I replaced the ribbon cable and all is now well.
