can't type letters. They appear as numbers

i have a big problem! When i try to type, some letters appear as nubmers. This only happens to letters that have a number underneath. The other letters appear just fine!
But i can't type a full word, nor a sentence!
Please help me!

Do you have a laptop? It's very possible that you hit the key combination that enables some of the letter keys to act as a number pad. Usually using the "Fn" key with another solves this problem. What make and model of laptop do you have?

Did you try just hitting the NumLock ley?
