Saving a file to desktop.

I saved a file to desktop, but now I can't find it. Where would it have gone?

My network shuts down at work.

My network shuts down at work, it gives a notice first "A problem has occured, must shut down, sorry for any inconvenience".

As I said in post #13 above we need a ton more information.

To be honest these all sound like simple 1st line support question and are possibly comsci homework.

Thank You for getting back to me so soon. This is a school project. Everyone had to submit helpdesk questions, we are supposed to try to solve all of them. So I am not quite sure what the message is.

So you've basically posted a ton of your homework for us to do for you.
That's really low.
We are all volunteers and as such give our own time freely to assist others with their legitimate issues.

Thank you for responding, disregard the questions from me. I am discussing my questions to the teacher.

No you misunderstood,we were supposed to do this to see how helpdesk worked and try to help others. Not that you are doing my work. I am sorry that I wasted your time. They are legitimate problems we were supposed to get a program to help solve. As I said Disregard any questions. Sorry.
