Can't open IE.programs hang

I'm having an issue lately which is happening more often

I am running Windows Vista Home.

Sometimes I go to open Internet Explorer and the blue circle spins for a few seconds and then nothing. It won't open.

When that happens I notice that my Outlook doesn't work either. It opens but wont read new mail.

Other times I might be in Explorer when I get a "internet explorer stopped working" message, and I can't shut it down. Even an Alt+Ctrl+Del doesn't help. It just hangs.

When this happens, if I have say Itunes in the background, it also won't close, and I have to reboot.

However, if I log out and sign in as a different user, all is fine.

My internet connection is still good when this happens.

I have the problem with XP. Firefox or Safari. It seems to happen when the wireless card moves to another access point(I have 2 at home) and/or not waiting long enough after waking up from sleep. I think it's dependent on webpage content too.

Restarting either application fixes it. Firefox will allow you to restore a previous sessiion, so no harm done. DOn't use IE unless I have to. If I have to, I render it within Firefox's window. IE just makes Windows appear more hostile than it already is.
