    I can't hear any sound!
I recently accidenlty re-installed xp(just an update though, so all my files and stuff are still on it) on my PC, since I've done this everything is working fine except the sound, I can't seem to hear anything, and I've checked all the devices and stuff and they are all working fine, can any body help me?
    Thanks

p.s. sorry if its not very clear, I'm crap at explaining things! Lol

Have you tried reinstalling your sound card drivers? Chances are Windows overwrote the ones that you had. Go to your manufacturer's web site and download the latest drivers.

And sorry to be insulting but I have to ask, have you checked the cables, made sure the microphone isn't muted in the volume control etc?
