Hi,
Windows Media Player will convert wma music files to mp3, if you have the proper codec installed. Since I don't use WMP for this, here is a way you can convert them.
Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment, then open Sound Recorder. This is the Windows Sound Recorder, but you can use it as a converter.
Once you opened the recorder, click on File at the top, then click on Open.
Select your folder, and the music file you want to open. It could be a .wav file, .wma file, etc.
After that, click on File, then Save As.
In that window, click the downarrow under the Name heading; and choose Mp3. You can then select the size of the file you want it to be, and probably will have to "play around" with the different settings for sizes, such as 8,000 Hz, 8 bit, Stereo, 16 KB/s.
You can get as much as 1 MB for just one Mp3 music file.
This does require some learning, as to how large you want each music file, and not do away with quality of sound.
