Would someone please answer this? It is a question I had but did not know the correct term to ask it. DUH!!! I do not have a digital camera yet,I scan my pictures and store them on my computer. Then half the time I can not get back to them quickly. I am still computer illiterate ,but I am making progress!!!

After you scan an image, the scanning utility prompts you to save the image. At that point you have to give it a name and select a folder to store it in. Just maker sure you know the name and folder so you can find it again.

Some scanners put them to My Documents / My Pictures folder by default.

Hi,

If you want to find all the pictures on your computer, go to Start, click Search, then click All Files and Folders and type *.jpg and then click search. If you saved your pictures in another format, just switch out the "jpg" with "gif" or whatever it is. But usually any pictures coming from a digital camera will be in JPG format.

Hope it helps!
