local phone service

Does any one know how to locate which local phone service a person is using[I know the number]?Someone is using my name and SS# to get thier phone service but I need to know who thier local carrier is so I can proceed to get it turned off and whatever legal action can be taken.

A reverse phone search is what you're looking for. just enter the phone number and get back a name and address. Here is a link that you can click on.

thanks....but I need to know who thier carrier is for thier home phone service.

Do the reverse phone thing. Once you have the name and address you can type in "phone companys for ----(area code) and ---- city" up on your search bar and let Google tell you the name of the carrier for that number.
