Velox antique treadle sewing machine
My sister has a Velox treadle sewing machine. I haven't been able to find anything about it on the web. I have run out of places to look. Any suggestions on where to find some info?

The first thing that I would suggest is to go to a bookstore or library and see if they have a book on antiques that includes sewing machines.

I did find a picture of one on the following site, though. You might be able to contact someone on that site concerning the machine.

Nancy Johnson-Srebro wrote a great book on the Singer featherweight called Featherweight 221 The Perfect Portable. I seem to recall her first edition included pictures of earlier machines including treadles. Or maybe you could contact her. She might know how to help you. Good luck!
