Valuation of an old coin

hi there, i have a 1820 george 111 silver crown coin, can you tell me how much it is worth, the coin is in really good condition? thank you.

In order for someone to come up with an actual possible value for you, it would be best if someone could examine the coin in person. The coin being in "really good condition" doesn't really say very much about it's condition. There can be many variables that figure into the possible value of coins. You could go to a library and find a book on coin values and maybe get a general idea. Also, you might consider taking the coin to a coin shop where it can be examined by an expert. Hopefully, there may be someone here who happens to see your question, and might give you a better idea as to the possible value of it, because they have a book handy that concerns the subject.

Linzimc - My book is mainly for USA coins ,.IT has afew brittisjh coins noted befor and after the revn. war I found (ONE ) IT IS POST_COLONIAL ISSUEEE IT IS A ( KIng George {III} <DATED 1785. ) GOOD_$5,500.00, Very good - $8,000.00 ( Fine- $ I0,000.00 .;;;;; I'm going to have to tell you that ,you need to go to a big coin shop where they will have a large book,( Coins Of the WORLD) And have them to look it up in this book to get your answer. the libery may have the book;;;;;; Sorry thats all the information I can give you ,I hope it helps though. Linzimc - In my books all I can find is the last year that ( KING GEORGE 111 ) was on any coin was in the POST COLONIAL Issues and that was ( 1783 ) that was coins that was used here in America>> The coin you have was made in england for use in england, To find this coin you will have to go to coins of the world and look under british coins. ;; AT books a million I found out they have books that have brittish coins in them.
