This question was asked and answered in a different forum. Here it is for your reference : WikiAnswers - What is the value of a 1957 US silver certificate

This is the most common of all of the silver certificates, and with research I have found you can get anywhere from $1.25-$2.50.

Here is an example of what another person is selling one for, only 0.99 : eBay.ca: 1957B one dollar silver certificate--RARE-7692A-NR (item 190154068684 end time 24-Sep-07 20:57:39 EDT)

I hope this gives you some idea. :)
