Several Native Amer. pieces jewelry Hallmark info sought

I have two rings bearing the inscribed initials "KRB" which is circa '70's by unknown Navajo silversmith as far as I can tell, does anyone know more about this particular silversmith.

Another ring bears the inscription "BY-LUCKY","4-79"

Another Zuni ring bears the hallmark "R" and what is partially visible "O/C"

This has become an obsession with me; I do know a local collector who has a retail shop as well but I don't know if I should ask him. I wonder if I can even let them go as they are so beautiful!

I set out to buy Native American pieces because I thought I wouldn't be as apt to keep them. I have a personal attraction to Art Nouveau & Art Deco. Native American is such a departure from that look although I'm finding it provocative.

I don't really have any definite answers for you. But, I don't like to see questions go by unanswered. By my posting a reply to your question now, your question will get moved more towards the top of the list of questions that are being asked. Hopefully, someone will come along and notice your question who also has a lot of knowledge about what you are asking.

In the meantime, you might try the following searches and also put in keywords of your own to them.

native american jewelry silver rings - Google Search

native american jewelry silver rings - Google Image Search

My guess is that the initials "KRB" on two of the rings, could also have been the initials of the person who owned the rings.

Clough,

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I was starting to wonder if anyone had read my post I will continue searching for answers. I did find a website called something like...mystery marks...postings of all sorts to that end.

I guess curiosity is killing most collectors out there!
