Is my ornament special or a collectible?

I have two ornaments that are both alsatians. They have a little symbol underneath them and I was wondering what it means?
Here are some pics, the ones of the bottom of the dog are not too clear the symbol is a crown with an s shape below it, there is also a number on the bottom, the number is 26084.

I can't see the marking very well, but perhaps it is SITZENDORF. Just search that and look for images of their hallmark and see if it matches yours. Sitzendorf typically has a crown over an "S", but some imitations have similar markings.

It is Sitzendorf!
Is it special in any way?
I have two of them, one has a chip out of its ear, the other has no tail.
Are they worth anything? Are they collectibles?

Sure, they are collectible. How much they are worth, does depend on how much someone is willing to pay for them. If they have been damaged in any way, that would lessen their value some. If you click on the following search, you will find links to sites that have prices for similar items to yours. The prices for those types of items seem to vary greatly.

I think that I may have found the very same dog figure on the following site. Great Collectible Dog Sitzendorf German Shepherd - 234 It is advertised as being for sale for $50.00.

That is the same figure, mine would be worth a bit less than that as they are slightly damaged. The dog on the site is worth $50 and it is reduced.
I got them for 50p at a jumble sale. I have two of them.
