Okay. Thanks for providing the serial number. The reason that I asked about the serial number, is because depending on what it was, it might make the bill more collectible and maybe worth more.

The quote below is from the following site. Ron's Paper Money FAQ

Quote:
Q: What is considered an Interesting Serial Number?

A: Some examples of collectible serial numbers are; low numbers (A00000035A), radar notes which are the same forwards and backwards (A12344321A), 6-8 same digits (A33333333A, A16444444A), special numbers (A00001776A, A19970000A), etc. Basically, any strange or interesting serial number combination is probably collectible and worth more.

How circulated would you say that it is? Like, does it have a lot of wrinkles in it, tears or is it dirty? Just because it is old, does not necessarily mean that it is worth more than ten dollars. Sorry to say that, but it's true. If it's going to be worth more than it's face value, then there are going to have to be some things that are remarkable about it. Like, exceptional in it's condition for one thing.

There may be other things that might make it remarkable in some way. Hopefully, Flying Blue Eagle will come along. He has books about these kinds of things.
