Ladybogard- The flowing will answer your questions about your ( $ 2.00 note ) ,1976
#1- $1935=1976- EF-40- ( no value listed) ::: #2-UNC-63- NO value listed } {#1935H
( *)-EF-40-$5.00 AND THE UNC-63 - 1935H- UNC-63 *- $20.00} { NOTE- THE 1935H AND 1935H *: means the catalog number - AND GRADE AND CONDITION OF A PAPER NOTE::THE(STAR ) { means that the note is a star noteYOU WILL find this STAR at the start or at the end of the serial number;and letter and number in the treasury round circle on the left end :: IT is also known as replacement note :: note-
NOW when a note is damaged durrning the printing of thenote , they take the note and log it iontop the log book and then it is taken to the " furnace and burned" then they print a nother note ,just like the one they burned, and they put a " STAR" most of the time on the very end of the serial number:: THESE star notes are ac lot more
vauleable then a reg note;; I hope I have answered all your questions;; if not -just come back to this site and holler:: Have a great night and a better tomorrow ; GOD BLESS;;; F.B.E.
