The only way is to have it GRADED< CERTIFIED< ENCAPSULATED .:: BY ( ANACS ) For a free submission form visit (

I have a 1956 lincoln head penny, that I got in change back then and noticed that the ( 1 ) looked like the letter ( S ) I talked to the denver mint and they told me they knew nothing of a misstrick like that, this was back in early 70's It was not a counterfit , they encapsulated and athentaczated FOR me . Im afared that if you took it to a reg coin shop that they would try to convince you it was a reg coin and talk you into selling it to them ;; I hope this helps you out,Please let CLOUGH and ME know what you find out;;; Good luck & GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
