Foreign Currency from Europe during WWII

My father was in WWII in Europe. I've inherited several pieces of foreign currency and would like to know if they have any value. There are are duplicates that I might consider selling. Is there a site online where I could identify the country of their origin? I have some from France, Italy, and Germany, but some I cannot ID. How do I determine the value of these items? How can I market them online?

To answer your question about identifying them, you might like to give the following site a try: Instant Identifiers

If you are able to, you might post pictures of them on the site we are on right now for identification. This could be as an answer to what I am posting right now.

I am not sure about the value of them, because I can't see them. Even if you do post pictures of them here, it is not the sort of really close-up examination that needs to be done by seeing them in person for anyone to make a determination as to their value. A coin dealer would be better to consult for that. You might get a very rough idea as to their value here, though.
